Statistical methods are used throughout the organization to facilitate these programs. Our commitment is demonstrated by our third-party certification to the ISO 9001:2015 Quality System standards since 1997 and our IATF 16949 certification since 2020.

Our Certifications

With the acquisition of the IATF 16949 certification, AER now holds equivalent quality standards to the nation’s top original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s). IATF 16949 is the International Standard for Automotive Quality Management Systems. The standard was developed by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) and approved for publication by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Certified organizations demonstrate a process-oriented quality management system that allows for continual improvement, defect prevention and reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain.

ISO 9001:2015

AER Technologies is registered to ISO 9001:2015 and has been continuously registered with Underwriters Laboratories (UL) since 1997 (reference no. 10001056). The three main goals of AER’s quality management system (QMS) are to recognize expectations, control processes and ensure success. AER is one of over one million certified companies in the world that takes advantage of the ISO 9001 standard as a tool for managing its organization and continually improving performance. The standard contains internationally recognized requirements for the quality of products, services and development.

ISO 14001:2015

AER’s committment to environmental performance and management is reflected in its ISO 14001:2015 certification.

ISO 14001:2015 specifies the requirements for an environmental management system that an organization can use to enhance its environmental performance. ISO 14001:2015 is intended for use by an organization seeking to manage its environmental responsibilities in a systematic manner that contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainability.

IPC Trainer

J-STD-001 Certified Trainer

AER employs an in-house J-STD-001 Certified IPC trainer who conducts classes for AER production personnel.

In order to achieve the highest quality end product and maintain a competitive position in the marketplace AER certifies production personnel to the industry soldering standard: IPC J-STD-001.The IPC J-STD-001 Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies has emerged as the preeminent authority for electronics assembly manufacturing. The standard describes materials, methods and verification criteria for producing high quality soldered interconnections. The standard emphasizes process control and sets industry-consensus requirements for a broad range of electronic products.
