Quality Management System
The Quality Management System exists to achieve customer satisfaction and continuous improvement, using voice of the customer information, formalized problem solving processes, and relying on documentation to monitor all processes. Key processes which measure customer satisfaction are tracked, and periodic meetings of Process Improvement Teams review the “key measurables” to determine if we are meeting our quality goals.
AER Technologies is registered to ISO 9001: 2015 and has been continuously registered with Underwriters Laboratories (UL) since 1997 (reference no. 10001056). The three main goals of AER’s quality management system (QMS) are to recognize expectations, control processes and ensure success. AER is one of over one million certified companies in the world that takes advantage of the ISO 9001 standard as a tool for managing its organization and continually improving performance. The standard contains internationally recognized requirements for the quality of products, services and development.
In order to achieve a high quality end product and maintain a competitive position in the marketplace AER certifies production personnel to the industry soldering standard: IPC J-STD-001.The IPC J-STD-001 Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies has emerged as the preeminent authority for electronics assembly manufacturing. The standard describes materials, methods and verification criteria for producing high quality soldered interconnections. The standard emphasizes process control and sets industry-consensus requirements for a broad range of electronic products.
